Terms and Conditions

1. General
1.1. These general terms and conditions apply to all quotations, bookings, offers, deliveries and transactions between The Bridal Bar and its clients and/or clients.

1.2. The provisions of these general terms and conditions can only be deviated from if and insofar as this has been expressly agreed in writing. The Bridal Bar does not accept any other party's Terms and Conditions unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1.3. The client accepts these general terms and conditions by reserving or booking a service from The Bridal Bar
1.4. The client is expected to provide The Bridal Bar in a timely manner with all information necessary to properly carry out the assignment.

 

2. Realization of booking
2.1. A booking is made when the client accepts an offer from The Bridal Bar verbally, by telephone, in writing or digitally.
2.2. The client acknowledges that he has taken note of and agrees to the General Terms and Conditions of The Bridal Bar before making a booking.

2.3 The first quotation issued is mutually non-binding. No rights can be derived from printing, typing errors and typos. A quotation is valid for 30 days unless expressly stated otherwise.
2.4 The offer is legally valid after signature by the client.
2.5 Offers and quotations do not automatically apply to future assignments

 

3. Rates
3.1. The Bridal Bar lists all prices visible on the website.
3.2. The Bridal Bar can be hired for a specific service at the rate for that service, or for a specific amount of hours. When booking The Bridal Bar by the hour, the hourly rate applies.
3.3 For work based on an hourly rate, 200% of the basic hourly rate is charged between 24.00 and 07.00.

3.4 For work based on an hourly rate, 200% of the basic hourly rate is charged on Sundays and public holidays.

3.5 If the activities, including travel time of The Bridal Bar, for bridal assignments, start before 7 a.m., a surcharge of € 50 will be charged.

3.6 If The Bridal Bar is booked for bridal assignments on Sunday, a surcharge of €50 will be charged.

3.7 If The Bridal Bar is booked for bridal assignments on public holidays, a surcharge of € 75 will be charged

3.8 A surcharge of € 50 will be charged for bridal orders if the client wants the trial session to take place on Saturday or Sunday.

 

4. Travel allowance
4.1. Travel costs incurred by The Bridal Bar for its work are for the account of the client and are based on a kilometer allowance of € 0.35 per kilometre. If the assignment falls within a radius of 10 km one-way, measured from zip code 5509MV, the travel costs will be borne by The Bridal Bar

4.2  For the total travel time, for assignments that fall outside a radius of 10 km one way, a travel time allowance of € 35 per hour will be charged for the total duration of the return travel distance.

4.3. Parking costs, overnight accommodation costs and accommodation costs are passed on to the client.  

 

5. Payment

5.1 Payment must be made by invoice prior to the assignment.
5.2. For bridal orders, payment is made in two installments. After placing the bridal booking, a deposit of 50% will be charged per invoice on the total costs of the bridal package of The Bridal Bar. The remaining amount of the bridal arrangement + any extras booked will be charged per invoice after the trial session.

5.3 For bridal arrangements including hair and make-up, payment is made in two installments. After placing the bridal package booking, a deposit of 50% will be charged per invoice over the total costs of the bridal package from The Bridal Bar. The remaining amount of the bridal arrangement + any extras booked will be charged per invoice after the trial session.

5.4 For bridal arrangements including make-up, a division is made between the services/products of The Bridal Bar and the services/products of Audrey Hendrikx | make-up. The Bridal Bar only charges for the services/products performed by The Bridal Bar. Services/products purchased from the Audrey Hendrikx | Make-up will be billed separately by Audrey Hendrikx | make-up.

5.5 In case of incomplete payment, The Bridal Bar has the right to cancel the assignment.

5.6. The payment term is stated on the invoice and is standard 14 days unless otherwise stated. If the payment term is exceeded, the client is in default by operation of law and the statutory interest is owed on the entire invoice amount, commencing on the due date of the amount to be paid.

5.7. All judicial and extrajudicial costs that The Bridal Bar must incur to collect the amount owed to it by the client will be borne by the client.
 

6. Cancellation, termination and suspension of the agreement
6.1. Booked assignments can be canceled free of charge by the client up to the 14th day before the assignment, with the exception of bridal assignments and bridal arrangements. Payments already made will be refunded minus the costs already incurred.

6.2. If a booked order is cancelled, the client owes the following cancellation costs of the total costs of the order:
a) In case of cancellation from the 14th day to the 7th day before the order, 50%.
b) In case of cancellation from the 7th day before the order 100%.

6.3. If a booked bridal assignment / bridal arrangement is cancelled, the client owes the following cancellation costs of the total costs of the assignment. Payments already made will be refunded minus the costs already incurred. If the trial session has already taken place, these costs will not be refunded.

a) In case of cancellation from 2 weeks after the booking until the 60th day before the wedding date 25%

b) In case of cancellation from the 60th day to the 14th day before the wedding date, 50%

c) In case of cancellation from the 14th day to the 7th day before the wedding date 75%

d) In case of cancellation from the 7th day before the wedding date, 100%

6.4 In the event of a change in the wedding date, a new quote will be drawn up with the new wedding date and the client must sign and return this quote and the rates will be applied as stated at that time on the website of The Bridal Bar.

6.5 If the client does not agree to a change in the wedding date with the then applicable rates, the contract can be canceled with due observance of the cancellation conditions for bridal orders / bridal arrangements mentioned in 6.3.

6.6 If The Bridal Bar is no longer available on the new requested date, the old contract will be canceled free of charge. Payments already made will be refunded minus the costs already incurred. If the trial session has already taken place, these costs will not be refunded.
6.7 The Bridal Bar reserves the right to cancel bridal orders if there is a dispute.

7. Liability
7.1. The Bridal Bar is not liable for damage of any kind caused by incorrect and/or incomplete information provided by the client.
7.2. The Bridal Bar is not liable for damage to personal property.
7.3. You are only eligible for compensation for the damage for which The Bridal Bar is insured and which is reimbursed by the insurer. Consequential damage, trading loss and immaterial damage are not eligible for compensation.
7.4. The Bridal Bar excludes any liability and rejects possible claims for damages, both direct and indirect, that arise from circumstances that are not attributable to The Bridal Bar and that under Dutch law or the norms applicable in society cannot reasonably be attributed to The Bridal Bar.

8. Force majeure
8.1. The Bridal Bar will show 100% commitment to fulfill the appointment made for bridal care. In the event of force majeure, including illness, The Bridal Bar will endeavor to find colleagues of an equivalent level who can take over the assignment. However, this is not a guarantee. If The Bridal Bar cannot find a replacement makeup artist, the agreement will be partially or completely canceled.
8.2 Force majeure also includes: war, riots and hostilities of any kind, blockade, boycott, natural disasters, epidemics, lack of raw materials, hindrance and interruption of transport options, disruptions in our company, import and export restrictions or bans, obstacles caused by measures, laws or decisions of international, national or regional (government) authorities.

9. Complaints
9.1. Complaints must be submitted to The Bridal Bar in writing and with sufficient motivation within 24 hours after the assignment has taken place.
9.2. The condition of acknowledging a complaint against The Bridal Bar is that the complaint must be well-founded and that the client submits the complaint stating reasons and if necessary proves it.

10. Personal data
10.1 Client data will not be passed on to third parties and will only be used for and by The Bridal Bar.
 
10.2 Visual material made by The Bridal Bar or supplied via a third party will only be used on Social Media / Website with the permission of the client

11. Changes and location of these terms and conditions.
11.1 These general terms and conditions can be found on the website of The Bridal Bar, namely www.thebridalbar.nl . A reference to the general terms and conditions can be found at the bottom of the offer.
 
11.2 The latest version or the version that applies at the time of the conclusion of the agreement is always applicable.

 

12. Final provision
12.1 Dutch law applies to these general terms and conditions and to every agreement that exists between the client and The Bridal Bar.
12.2 All disputes that may arise as a result of an agreement between The Bridal Bar and the client or any agreement that may result therefrom, will be settled exclusively by the Dutch court.

12.3 The parties will only appeal to the courts after they have made every effort to settle a dispute in mutual consultation.
